Alaska Fire Science Consortium (AFSC)

http://akfireconsortium.uaf.edu

AFSC is one of fourteen regional consortia supported by the Joint Fire Science Program and has become part of a national fire science knowledge exchange network.

Our goal is to strengthen the link between fire science research and on-the-ground application by promoting communication between managers and scientists, providing a science delivery platform to share new findings, and facilitating collaborative scientist-manager research development.
